Palapas… I am very intrigued with this architecture!  Some are so intricate, I would like to watch one being woven together.

32 degrees in Puerto Escondido today….I know you all are feeling so sorry for us 🙂

We took a hike today on a path that follows the cliffs along the ocean below the lighthouse. The walkway is a work of art with stonework and arches – an adventure!

A few days ago I ate a macaroon (it was delicious!) but something hard in it broke one of my fillings… ouch, it hurts!!  We decided to find a dentist….

It is a bit of a challenge when your dentist only speaks Spanish…. he ended up calling someone on the phone who could translate for us…Dr. Jesus is going to give me two crowns (ha!  I am looking forward to the day when I can cast a crown at the feet of our Lord Jesus – 2 Tim 4:8!!!!) – the only downside is that they won’t be ready until Saturday…. no guacamole and chips for me for a few days!!!  Scott felt left out, so he is getting two crowns too.

We are bypassing Mexico City and Cuernavaca, heading to Guatemala on Hwy 200, but may pass through on our way back… 🙂
